purification of the hearts..

Allah s.w.t knows whats in each man's heart..
when the heart is sound, the whole body will be sound..

sufianah at-thauri once said to a group of muslims..
If u supplicate to Allah, He will answer you..

and the group of muslims replied..
"we call upon Allah, yet our supplication was not answered"

sufianah replied:

You know Allah, yet you disobey Him
You recite the Quran, yet you do not act according to it
You know shaitan, yet you had agreement with it
You proclaim your love to rasulullah s.a.w., yet you abondon his sunnah
You proclaim your love to Jannah, yet you do not act to get for it
You proclaim your fear of Hell-fire, yet you do not avoid sin
You said, indeed death is near, yet you do not prepare for it
You point out the false of others, yet you do not look at your own fault
You eat and use what Allah bestowed upon you, yet you do not thank Him for it
You buried the dead, yet you do not take heeds nor lesson from it.

How do we expect our supplication will be answered if we are among those pointed above?

As His jundullah, we should always reflect back each of our action.
We might say, we do as-salah hajat for the ease of da'wah.. but how can we expect Him to ease it for us, if we do not purify our hearts..?

If wudhuk purify our outer parts of the body, what can we do to purify the souls.. ?

As purification is indeed important.
As cleanliness is half of eeman..
and purification is the cleanliness on the inside..

for us together find the true way to purify the hearts..
